dataVoice International Welcomes Cedar Falls Utilities
Cedar Falls Utilities (CFU), located in Iowa, recently implemented the dataVoice IVR and Outage Management Solution integrated with their AutoCad GIS and People Soft CIS.
The utility uses the system to manage trouble reports for both their Electric and Telecommunications Departments.
Integrated With Tanatuls AMI & ONT Devices
The solution is also integrated with their Tanatuls AMI and ONT devices on their Fiber network to easily and proactively detect both electric outages and communications issues.
The acquisition of the dataVoice Customer App (CFU2Go) and web site applications provide CFU customers with options beyond a phone call, to report service issues quickly on their smart phones or tablet devices. They have over 1,000 downloads of the APP today.
Once outages are reported, the system automatically notifies crews so they can instantly react. When outages reach a certain level, managers are immediately informed of the current outage status via the Manager’s Smart Phone App.
