
The dataVoice Customer Training Conference goes virtual this year. To make it easier for you to join us, we have spread the sessions over the first two weeks of November.
Week One: The conference starts with general sessions. We will outline dataVoice products and direction. The outage management system (OMS) and related tools take center stage. You will need to register for each session, but there is no cost.
Week Two: The conference concludes with focused training for individuals in a classroom format. Trainees get logins to a training system and exercises. You will need to register for each session, and the cost is in the session details.

11/5/20 1-2 pm, CT | Improving customer satisfaction through omni-channel communications. Online ordering has played a significant role in impacting customer service. Customers can instantly find and order literally anything, receive status updates of their order along the way, and have it delivered next day. Having an outage alert plan is more important now than ever as customer expectations are higher. Utilities need to communicate not only during a major event but also before and after. We will take a look at multiple options for getting the word out to utility customers. 11/5/20 2:30-3:30 pm, CT | Real-time Executive Tools for Outages How do you stay informed when you don’t have the outage system in front of you every minute of the day? Managers need information delivered on a timely bases to keep track of everything. The outage system allows dispatchers to concentrate on their jobs, while managers and other employees are notified automatically when they need to be. 11/6/20 10- 11 am, CT | OMS: Leveraging AMI, Distribution Management and SCADA Smart and self healing electric grids are becoming more and more popular, allowing utilities to dig deeper into their distribution systems. SCADA can switch automatically responding to increased load or outages. The system then tracks through these changes and update the electric model automatically. 11/6/20 11:30-12:30 am, CT | Empowering Field Crews with Lineman App and DA Due to Covid-19, many utilities have been forced to reduce crew sizes and face time between crew members. You need to be able to get the job information to them quickly and safely. There are a growing number of solutions your field personnel can use to monitor outage data and collect information in the field. With these tools available, crews can get what they need, without risking exposure by having to report to the office. It is an easy place to handle service orders and work orders as well. With the tools available your crews will get the work delivered to them and can work more efficiently. The system offers a growing number of integrations with CIS vendors or it can handle the work orders and service orders for you. Perhaps you were not even working at your utility when it first deployed the dataVoice solution. This is the session for you. We walk through the basics of dealing with outages and move on to increasingly difficult scenarios.
